She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvis E. McBride and Ruth L. McBride; her husband Lester E. Walker; her siblings, Ellis McBride, Joe McBride, Mary Daniel, Tommie Honer and Bobby McBride; her son Terry Walker; and her grandson Christoper Walker.

She is survived by: her stepsons, Larry Gene and Terry Lee; her son Larry Walker (Cynthia); and her grandchildren, Lindsay Holmgren (Ted), Lauren Whiting (Trey) and Meghan Hyer (Nathan). She is also survived by 9 Great-Grandchildren.
