It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Santiago Cauton of Mesa, Arizona, born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, who passed away on April 8, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Santiago Cauton and Edith Cauton; his significant other Carolyn Ellis; his sons, Dan Cauton (Tamara) and John Cauton (Holly) of Kansas City, MO; his granddaughters, Audrey Cauton and Christina Cauton; his siblings, Dolores "Dodo" Martin of Minneapolis, Nick Espiritu of Minneapolis and Cindy Espiritu of Minneapolis; his sister-in-law Kathy Ocel of Soldotna, AK; his siblings, Leland Espiritu and Janice O'Braske; his brothers-in-law, Tom Ocel (Kathy) and Bill Martin (Dodo); his niece Amy Thomas (Ocel); and his grandson Jack Cauton. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
