He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Nyhof and Jarvis Wasvick; his brother Gary Nyhof; his siblings-in-law, Carol Draeger, Vera Wasvick, Jarvis Wasvick, Larry Breuer, Rodney Laughlin and Duane Wasvick; and his brother Denny Versdahl.
He is survived by: his children, Darin, Brent Nyhof (Crissy) and Rochelle Sheppard (Kiden); his grandchildren, Gage Nyhof (Danielle), Coltyn Nyhof (Shyanne Hendrickson), Caitlyn Nyhof, Saydie, Kiden Dennis and Maicey Sheppard; his great grandchildren, Ryder, Bentley Nyhof, Sapphira Hendrickson, Serentity and Bryzon Nyhof; his siblings, Rosalee Laughlin, Eugene Nyhof (Joanne), Beverly Breuer, Arthur Nyhof (Becki) and Kathy Nyhof; and his siblings-in-law, Sandy Stoudt (Jim), Bruce Wasvick (Sissy) and Cliff Draeger. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
