He is survived by: his wife Janell of Mesa, AZ; his children, Shelly Thunborg (Leroy), Greggory Strachota (Denise) and Christine Armstrong (Brian); and his brother Michael Strachota (Nancy). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren.
