He was predeceased by: his parents, Pearl Crandall (Widman) and Alten Crandall; his son Dorn Ray Crandall Jr. "DJ" (DJ); his wife LaVonne Crandall (Heley); and his sisters, Arlys and Janice.
He is survived by: his significant other Mary Lou King; his daughter Twila Thielman (Mike); his grandchildren, Allison, Madison and Isabelle; his daughter Nadene Crandall (Michael Castagna); his grandchild Greyson; and his siblings, Piquetta Heger (Tom), DeVarr (Val) and Daro (Lois). He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces.
