She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Ellefson and Clara Ellefson (Meyer); her husband John Olson; and her siblings, Clarence Ellefson, Garnet Ellefson, Darol Ellefson, Richard Ellefson and Phyllis Rinas.

She is survived by: her children, Gerald Olson (Jill) and Cheryl Dillard (Mark); and her grandchildren, Scott and Samantha Olson Smith (Jerrod).
