He was predeceased by: his parents, Alton Black and Dorothy Black (Mowatt); his wife Rita Black (Gerrish); his siblings, Shirley Dertinger, Ellen Brulotte, Alton Black Jr. and Robert Black (Bobby); his son-in-law Stephen Charron; and his great grandchild Levi Black.
He is survived by: his children, Debbie Charron of Maine, Vicki Black, Larry Black (Tammy) of North Carolina, Regina Gibson and Mark Black (Kathy) of Maine. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild on the way, and 2 great great grandchildren.
