She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Mercedes Gutierrez and Erasmo Segundo Brito; her husband Melvyn Richard Standage; her children, John (Anna), Richard (Gayle), Paul (Tammy), Tina Bushman (John), Julie Turner (James), Jeff (Tracy) and Laurie Amos (Brian); and her sisters, Hilda, Lucy, Rosa and Gloria. She was also cherished by many other family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family would love to see Vickie's tradition of love and service continue through all the people whose lives she touched.
