With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Effie Elizabeth Leatherman (Mesa, Arizona), born in Chanute, Kansas, who passed away on May 14, 2025 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Clete Leatherman. She is survived by: her children, Kathy Brooks and Steve Leatherman (Becky); her grandchildren, Wayne Mandeville (Dara), Kristin Green (Charles), Dr. Matthew Leatherman (Lauren) and Blake Leatherman (Amanda); her great grandchildren, Cal Robert Leatherman, Courtney Mandeville, Caitlynn Mandeville, Ricky Phillips, Callie Mandeville and Joe Dickinson; and also, Lainee Mandeville, Easton Wayne Phillips, Bobbie Elizabeth Phillips, Kaulder J. Blankenbeckler and Cora Linn Blankenbeckler.
