With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eleanor Deas of Mesa, Arizona, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on April 26, 2022 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Joe; and her son-in-law Gary Lindsay. She is survived by: her children, Terry (Dennis McLaughlin), Fran (Mike Harris), Phyllis Lindsay (Steve Holland) and Joseph Deas; her grandchildren, Bryan, Amanda Lindsay, Sean, Kara Lindsay, Dennis, Ella McLaughlin, Patrick McLaughlin, Laura McLaughlin, Scott Harris and Greg Harris; her great grandchildren, Kayden, Kyler, Alex, Gabby, Braelyn and Brinkley; and her sweet little namesake Jacqueline Eleanor.
In lieu of flowers, people wishing to honor Eleanor are welcome to make a donation on her behalf to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, as Eleanor was especially proud of her granddaughter Laura, who is currently completing her master's degree to become a Speech Language Pathologist.
