Elizabeth Marie Carabajal Obituary

We announce the death of Elizabeth Marie Carabajal of Mesa, Arizona, who passed away on September 21, 2026, at the age of 54. Elizabeth will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Mike, Josephine Michael, George and Mary Raap; her brothers, Frederick Michael and J. T. Michael; and her parents-in-law, Elfigo and Adelina Carabajal.

She is survived by: her husband Deacon James Carabajal; her children, Michelle Carabajal, Christian Carabajal, Marianna Greuel (Tyler Greuel), Josephine Carabajal and Elizabeth Carabajal; her granddaughter Miriam Carabajal; her parents, Toby Michael and Mary Ann Michael; her sisters, Georgia Michael (Dave Pulliam) and Mary Jo Vandiver (Bob Vandiver); and her sisters-in-law, Katherine Chavez (Randy Chavez) and Victoria Trujillo. She is also survived by her three nieces, six nephews, and two great-nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Queen of Heaven Catholic Funeral Home (1562 E Baseline Rd, Mesa, AZ 85204). A rosary will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the All Saints Catholic Church (1534 N Recker Rd, Mesa, AZ 85205). An entombment will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery (1562 E Baseline Rd, Mesa, AZ 85204).

In lieu of flowers contributions may be directed to the Saint Peregrine Cancer Shrine Fund or Life Forever Fund held with the Catholic Community Foundation in the Diocese of Phoenix 480-651-8808.
