We announce the death of Elizabeth Rae Kiernan of Mesa, Arizona, born in Queens, New York, who passed away on October 18, 2026, at the age of 94. Elizabeth will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She is survived by: her husband Donald Kiernan; her children, Mark (Karen), Patricia (Jim), Stephen (Margaret), Jean and Maureen (Michael); her grandchildren, Mitchell, Kelly, Zoe, John, Tom, Tyler and Michael; and her brother Bill Kehrer.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park and Funeral Home (400 S Power Rd, Mesa, AZ 85206). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Holy Cross Catholic Parish (1244 S Power Rd, Mesa, AZ 85206). A committal service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery (1562 E Baseline Rd, Mesa, AZ 85204). A rosary will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park and Funeral Care (400 S Power Rd, Mesa, AZ 85206). A funeral Mass will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Cross Catholic Parish (1244 S Power Rd, Mesa, AZ 85206). A graveside service will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery (1562 E Baseline Rd, Mesa, AZ 85204).
