We are sad to announce that on June 26, 2021, at the age of 76, Evelyn Harris (Mesa, Arizona), born in Mercer, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her mother Willie Dorsey; her son Sir Mitchell Harris; and her siblings, Eddie Walker, James Walker, Walter Walker and Mildred Currin.

She is survived by: her children, Wilma Williams (Kenneth), Robin Oglesby-Harris, Dawn Harris and Devlin Harris Burris (Renee). She is also survived by her grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

“Wilma was my classmate in high school in Jackson Tennessee. She was very quiet but sweet. Her sister Mrs Walker was my home economic teacher who took me under her wings,so I always felt that Wilma had it made in the shade with a sister like that. Wilma was my husband's first play mate. We visited her last year in Arizona, it was a site to see them talk,hold hands and rekindle their friendship. Wilma,Dawn and the entire family you had a very special mom.
