She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Lamar Burrell; her parents, Sammie L. Dorris and Mary L. Johnson; her children, Doris B. Martin of Cave Creek and Kent L. Burrell; her daughter-in-law Cherie Burrell of Gilbert, Arizona.; her grandchildren, Daniel Burrell (Roger Apitz) of Mesa, Joshua Burrell (Tamra Pearce Burrell) of Mesa, Lacey Burrell of Durango and Stephanie Schmitz (Parker) of Rexburg, Idaho.; and her great grandchildren, Macyn, Makson and Kendyl Burrell of Mesa.

She was nicknamed “the hostess with the mostest” because her AV department was the social center of the campus. She will be missed by all who knew her. Her grandson, Daniel, was in my social studies class and I will forever remember him as one of my favorite students. My sincerest sympathies and prayers go to her family. Madeleine Bergquist Myrmel”
