He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frank Valdes Sr. and Carmen Acosta Valdes; his sister Eloise; his former wife Corinne Mendez; his daughters, Charlene Shine (Charlie), Corrine Faison Whitmire (Coco) and Victoria Lee (Papoose); his wife Arlyne Valdes; his stepdaughters, Leslie Friedman and Tracy McNally (Jay); his son Bobby; his grandson Matthew; and also Glen Friedman. He was also cherished by 4 children, he had 5 grand-sons, and 3 grand-daughters, the grand-children he has 12 great-grand-sons and 2 great-grand-daughters.
