With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerald L. Jacoby (Mesa, Arizona), who passed away on March 12, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Jacoby and Lois Jacoby (Purdy); his sister Mickey (Ralph Denson); his half-sister Katherine (Sonny Merscheim); his son Shane Stauffer; and his siblings-in-law, Glenn, Irene Magnuson, Arlen, Connie Magnuson and Lynn Lessmann.
He is survived by: his wife Verlene Magnuson; his daughters, Lisa Plahuta (Tom) of Windsor, CO, Teresa De La Rosa of Columbus, OH, Amy Jacoby-Loftis (Greg) of Omaha, NE and Angie Stauffer of Cozad Ne; his siblings, Patty Brown of Portland, OR and Chuck (Vickie) of Portland, OR; his siblings-in-law, Veldon Magnuson (Kathie) and Gloria Lessmann of Omaha, Nine; his grandchildren, Tanner, Sylvia, Nickolas Plahuta, Tavo, Mateo, Bella De La Rosa, Tyler Sanborn, Jake and Jessica Stauffer; and his aunt Opal Purdy. He is also survived by 3 great grand children, many nieces, nephews and friends.
