He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Gannon and Leo Gannon of Spence Iowa; his former wife Mary Lou Gannon; his son Dr Robert Gannon; and his wife Pat Mihalovich.

He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Toni Gannon; his daughter Susan Fisk; his son-in-law James Fisk; his grandsons, Dr John Gannon (Sarah Stilwil), Mike Fisk, Tim Gannon (Christina Gannon) and Tom Gannon; and his great grandchildren, William, Jack and Angelina Gannon.
