He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Dykstra and Alice Dykstra (Damstra); and his siblings, Grace Silvis, Joyce Weg, David Dykstra, Robert Dykstra, Larry Dykstra and Wilfred.
He is survived by: his wife Ardis Dykstra of Gilbert, AZ; his children, Jacquelyn Dykstra (Brad) of Rock Valley, IA, Joni From (Jeff) of Sioux Falls, SD, Jeffrey Dykstra (Jennie Garrison) of Columbus, NE and Jamie Dykstra (Kim) of Gilbert, AZ; his sister Phyllis Vander Linden (Paul) of Ashton, IA; and his sisters-in-law, Ercell Dykstra, Trudy Dykstra and Lavonne Dykstra. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
