He was predeceased by: his parents, Claremont Rolinger and Adeline Rolinger (Symanek); his siblings, James (Patricia) and Carla Atkins; and his nephew Christopher.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Shea; and his children, Mark Rolinger (Terri), David, Christina and Thomas (Julie). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
