Jacob Joshua Ackley-Thompson Obituary

Jacob Joshua Ackley-Thompson, more commonly known as “Josh”, was a 1969 Valentine's Day baby born in Muncie, IN. In 1987 he moved to Tempe Arizona to study aviation at ASU. After graduation he traveled all over the country working as an air traffic control officer, flight trainer, and instructor. He spent his free time with his family and working on model airplanes. He also loved swimming, cooking, and attending model shows with his small fleet of airplanes.

Josh was a wonderful brother to Bryan, Codi, and Keegan and leaves behind his son Bryan and mother Jan and father Gary. He was a wonderful brother and father and he shall be missed greatly.

A funeral will be held on 12/27 at noon at the South Mountain Mortuary in Mesa. Those wishing send flowers are asked to instead donate to the LLS. http://www.lls.org is the site to donate on Josh’s behalf.
