He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Marie Ferrie of Mesa; his mother Ilda Ferrie of Connecticut; his parents-in-law, Marcia Crossgrove of Queen Creek and Gregory Crossgrove of Seattle, Washington.; his siblings-in-law, Jeff Jablonski and Sarah Richards (Scott); and his sibling's children, Cash Richards, Nathaniel Jablonski, Eliot Jablonski, Alexa, Amia and Amity Richards.

In lieu of flowers, those who wish to honor James' memory are invited to make a donation to the Arizona Humane Society, a cause dear to his heart.
