It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James B. Modrell in Mesa, Arizona, who passed away on February 18, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James B. Modrell to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Modrell and Irene Modrell (Dunham); his siblings-in-law, Elvin and Fern Rohrberg; his sister Bernadine Jussel; his brothers-in-law, Leroy Jussel, Donald Rohrberg and Jim Wamberg; and his grandson Jeffrey Modrell.
He is survived by: his wife Eloise Rohrberg (Ellie); his children, Jim Modrell (Cecilia) of Wayne, LuAnn Garman (Kenny) of Spencer and Doug Modrell (Julie) of Urbandale, Iowa; his grandchildren, Kevin, Justin, Samantha, Aubrey, Alison, Benjamin and Danielle; his stepgrandchildren, Zulia and Julia; and his sister-in-law Kathy Wamberg. He is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials will be directed to Shriner's Hospital and St. Jude Children's Hospital.
