He was predeceased by: his parents, William James Higgins and Margarete Louise Miller Higgins; his brother John Higgins; and his grandson Jonathan Carlos Miranda. He is survived by: his daughter Amanda Miranda (Eli); his grandsons, Ethan and Frederick; his great grandchild Jeff Higgins (Alexandra); and also, Natalie, Liam and Gabriel.
