She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Dumbauld, Garrett Smith and Peter Smith; her children-in-law, Joe Dumbauld and Nara Smith; and her sister Peggy Buchannan. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
She dedicated time throughout her life for volunteer work where she had a positive impact on the lives of countless people, including leading an Alzheimer's Support Group for more than ten years.
