It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice Westrum Young in Mesa, Arizona, born in Stratford, Iowa, who passed away on March 20, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Westrum and Hazel Westrum (Angstrom); her husband Ben Young Jr. (Mac); her siblings, Marjorie, Betty and Norman; and her stepson Mike.
She is survived by: her former husband Gordon Appenzeller; her children, Steve Appenzeller, Tammy Switzer (Ray), Twyla Eaton (John), Talitha Appenzeller (Lonnie), Kerry Appenzeller (BeLinda) and Kip Appenzeller (Susan); her stepchildren, Ben III and Rose; and her brothers, Verlyn Westrum (Dorothy) and Dale Westrum (Pat). She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
