He was predeceased by: his parents, Jarold Lorain "Jerry" Comer, Sr. and Helen Hammer Comer; and his siblings, Mark Comer and Linda Benskin. He is survived by: his children, Michael Comer of Anchorage, Tamera Loraine Rasmus of Mesa, Teresa Comer of Gilbert, Erin Melton of Washington and Kelly Richards of Washington; his sister Cheryl Waid of Pe Ell; his grandchildren, Rebecca Ridge, Natasha Weiss, Sean Weiss, Olivia Gilbert and Jamieson Godat; and his great grandchildren, Dalton Pritchard, Jacob Ward, Lyra Ward, Oliver Bailey and James Hill, Jr..
