She is survived by : her son John Mercure Jr. of Mesa Arizona; her husband Dwight Cook; her sisters, Wanda Zimmerman of Ohio and Ilene Summers of West Virginia; and her great grandchildren, Aiden Daniel Cook, Emmie Lynne Cook of Surprise Arizona and Elizabeth Lee Morgan-Hewitt of Mesa Arizona. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 from 8:00 AM to 9:15 AM at the Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park and Funeral Home (400 S Power Rd, Mesa, AZ 85206). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St Anne Roman Catholic Parish (440 E Elliot Rd, Gilbert, AZ 85234).
