Jim leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Jim’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Jim will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth; his parents, Ellis Cohlmia and Lillie Farris Cohlmia; and his siblings, Bill E. Cohlmia, Virginia Saliba (J. M.) and Joan Razook (Kenneth).
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Nancy Cohlmia; and his close friend Martha Panella.
Within the past year, Cohlmia's deep religious faith moved him to donate his world-class collection of religious iconographies to St. Ignatius Orthodox Christian Church in Mesa, a burgeoning church community he helped found after moving to Arizona.
