He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Jim" Donald Jones and Shirley May Jones; and his siblings, James "Jimmy" Gayland Jones and Melinda "Mindy" Jones. He is survived by: his siblings, Cynthia "Cindy" Louise Kerr (Keith), Teresa Eeds (David) and Jason Donald Jones (Sabene). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and abundance of loving friends.

“I only knew johnny for a year but we were going to celebrate our shared birthdays together and i was really looking forward to that, unfortunately he fell ill and it never happened. Johnny was the kind of person you fall in love with immediately when you meet him he was caring and funny and humble and he left my life too soon.
