With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Leland Jarvis (Mesa, Arizona), born in El Paso, Texas, who passed away on January 4, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lehi Defriez and Clare McGuire Jarvis; his former wife Carol Lucille Scott; and his brothers, Lehi Marlin, Clarence Verl, Sidney Carl and Earl Lavon.
He is survived by: his wife Viola Sanderson Walker Jarvis; his brothers, James Vernon and Phillip Mac Jarvis; and his children, Carol Ann Parkhurst, David Scott Jarvis (Laura), Dennis Lee Jarvis, Debra Sue Swift (Robert) and Jeffrey Brian Jarvis (Tracy). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
