He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold and Theresa. He is survived by: his wife Lainee; and his brother Tom. He is also survived by brothers- and sisters-in-law; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bunker Family Funeral Home (3529 E University Dr, Mesa, AZ 85213). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the All Saints Roman Catholic Church (1534 N Recker Rd, Mesa, AZ 85205). The military honors will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona (2929 E Pinnacle Peak Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85024).
In lieu of flowers, John's family kindly requests that donations be made in his honor to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation (T2T.org).
