He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell William Whipple Sr. and Alice Laura Boisclair; and his siblings, Russ and Bonnie. He is survived by: his wife Arlene Plaza Apas; his daughters, Caprese Nelson (Steve), Teresa Anderson (Dee) and Sherry Harris; and his grandchildren, Sarah (Nathaniel), Brandi (Brenden), Katie, Mary (Reese), Johnny (Megan), Jonathan (Emily), David, Erika (Cody) and Cody. He is also survived by 32 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Building (618 S Signal Butte Rd, Mesa, AZ 85208).
