He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Peters and Helen Peters; his former wife Judith Peters (Wyrick); his siblings, Gerald Peters, Frederick Peters, Gloria Ramsey, Catherine Schulze and Christina Wingard; and his son-in-law Scot Carpenter.
He is survived by: his wife Rose Marie Peters (McCoy); his brother Robert Peters (Karen); his children, Elaine Carpenter (Kevin Pastrick) and Joseph D. Peters II (Samantha Stinnett); his grandchildren, Ava Peters, Joseph D. Peters III, Linsey Porter (Tim), Macie Rollo (Rodney) and William Carpenter (Makenzie); and his great grandchildren, Jase and Grier Porter. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Saint George Catholic Church (300 E 16th Ave, Apache Junction, AZ 85119). A funeral service was held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
Preferred memorial contributions may be made to the Ladies Guild of Saint George Catholic Church.
