She was predeceased by: her parents, Ambrose Swendra and Catherine Swendra (Piehl); and her husband Dennis Massey. She is survived by: her children, Terry Thorson (LaNette), Bruce Thorson (Gerry) and Cindy Kaine (Mike); and her stepchildren, Dawn Sorenson and Bret Massey (Jill). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (625 12th Ave, Howard Lake, MN 55349). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Howard Lake Lions Club or St. John's Lutheran Church of Howard Lake.
