With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kayla Elizabeth Parcak of Mesa, Arizona, born in New London, Connecticut, who passed away on December 5, 2023 at the age of 28. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her stepbrother Caleb Freauff. She is survived by: her mother Kerrie Freauff; her stepfather Ryan Freauff; her father Robert Englehardt; her brother Zachary Parcak; her stepsiblings, Nicholas Golden and Gabrielle Golden; her half-sister Alexandra Chapman; her grandparents, Tom Parcak, Patricia Newman (Michael) and Dee Englehardt; her cousins, Angel Parcak, Akheena Parcak and Avin Parcak; and her aunt Heather Parcak.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to one of these causes close to Kayla's heart: Amanda Hope Rainbow Angels, HopeKids, or Alex's Lemonade Stand, to continue her legacy of advocating for children battling cancer.
