Larry Eugene Wilson Jr., age 67, passed away on, January 26, 2026, in Mesa, Arizona. Larry was born on, April 16, 1958, in Columbus, Ohio.
Larry was married to the love of his life, Theresa Wilson, for 44 years. He was a devoted husband, father, son, and brother who deeply valued his family, and the life they built together.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Larry Wilson Sr., and Carolyne Wilson. Larry was the oldest of four children, Lisa (Steve) Armitage, Amy (Matt) Miller, and David Wilson.
Larry was a proud, and loving father to; Larry (preceded in death by Teresa), Wilson III, Leslie (Wayne) Zimmerman, Lisa Wilson (Tim), Patricia (Jesus) Aguilar, Keith Wilson, and Kimberly Wilson (Mike), late James Wilson and late Carolyne (Malcom) Taha, He was also a proud grandfather to 23 grandchildren, and great-grandfather to 12; all of whom brought him immense joy and pride.
Larry served over 20 years in the Army National Guard, demonstrating his dedication, patriotism, and commitment to service. He was also the proud owner, and operator of Wilson Diesel Service for more than 30 years; where his strong work ethic, and willingness to give others a chance left a lasting impact. Larry helped many men by teaching valuable lifelong skills, that allowed them to provide for their families; often stepping in when no one else would.
He had a passion for history, scuba diving, gambling, traveling, and spending time with his grandchildren. One of his most memorable trips was to Greece; where he, and Theresa celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary. He also loved the breathtaking landscapes of Alaska. A devoted Denver Broncos fan; Larry never missed an opportunity to cheer on his team.
Larry was known for his sense of humor, love of storytelling, and ability to make people laugh. He always tried to brighten someone's day, and was happiest when surrounded by family, and friends; sharing jokes, and good times. He was generous, kind-hearted, and always willing to help someone in need.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew, and loved him. His children will love and cherish him always!
