Lehi touched many lives and will be remembered fondly for the moments shared and the memories created. Family, friends, and colleagues extend their love and support during this time. While Lehi’s presence will be missed, the influence he had on others will remain. Those who knew him will carry forward memories that reflect his character and spirit.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George A. Smith and Phosia Humphries Smith; and his wife Georgia Bateman Smith. He is survived by: his sons, David (Kellie), Mark (Shelly), Thane (Jean) and Kent (Julie). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and by 24 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 7:30 AM to 8:15 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Fountain Ward Building (925 N Harris Dr, Mesa, AZ 85203). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 8:30 AM at the Fountain Ward Building (925 N Harris Dr, Mesa, AZ 85203).
