He was predeceased by: his parents, Einar "Ted" and Helen Frasl; and his brother Allan. He is survived by: his children, Ryan (Camille), Erin Groves (Jason) and Colin (Erin); his grandsons, Caelan Dorstad, Jake Dorstad, Carter Groves, Cameron Groves, Oliver Dorstad and Andrew Dorstad; and his siblings, Delores Andren, Marty Murrell (John), Merrill Dorstad and Janet Robideau (Roger). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
