He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Shumway and Helene Hunt Shumway; his former wife June; his children, David John Davidsen (Alta), Judy Shumway Lee (David) and Janet Shumway Graff (Tom); and his grandson Keith Lee (Becky).
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy; and his children, Linda Shumway Miller (Dale) and Lynn Andrew Shumway, Jr. (Andy). He is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 60 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great grandchildren.
