Mark Gardiner Obituary

It is with a heavy heart that our family announces the unexpected passing of Mark Gardiner on June 8, 2026, in Tempe, Arizona.

Although born in California, Mark spent most of his upbringing in Canada, where he developed his love of sports. He was an avid golfer and hockey enthusiast, which brought him great joy and many lifelong friendships.

Our Mark had a deep compassion for animals, especially for his dogs, whom he cared for with great dedication and love. He was also a keen Pokémon collector, which reflected his enthusiasm and playful spirit.

He is survived by his father, Jim; sister, Leslie; his four nephews, Johan, Liam, Rhys, and Xander; his partner, Jackie; her daughters, Ashley and Amanda; and the Espinoza family. Mark was predeceased by his mother, Pat.

Mark was a kind, silly, playful, and caring soul. Mark will be greatly missed by all who knew him and loved him.
