Mark James Stahl Obituary

Mark James Stahl, 58, of Mesa, Arizona passed away on Sunday, August 18th, 2019 at his home surrounded by family. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 24th at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints meeting house at 7752 E. McDowell Rd., Mesa, Az. 85207. Burial will be at a future date. Mark was born on August 13, 1961 in Howell, Michigan to Jack Stahl & Janet Mahoney Stahl.

Mark grew up in Brighton, Michigan. He graduated from Brighton High School in 1980. Mark started training as a Junior Fireman at Brighton Fire Department when he was 17 years old and continued as a Volunteer Fireman until he was 26. Mark began working in the Parts Dept. at a local car dealership as one of his first jobs. He worked in various positions in the Auto Industry throughout his 30+ year career, including Finance Director, Sales Manager & Fleet Manager.

Mark married Becky Hutchison in 1994 in Mesa, Az. Together they had 5 children. They were happily married for 25 years. Mark was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He enjoyed many callings over the years. Serving as Cub Master in the Cub Scout program was his favorite and he excelled at that calling.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Jack & Janet Stahl. Mark is survived by his wife, Becky of Mesa, Az.; his daughter Kari Martz (Chester), Amanda Hamelwright (Shawn), & his sons, Jake Stahl, Ben Stahl & Ryan Stahl. His Brother, David Stahl (Sarah) of Peoria, Az., & Sisters, Teri Wischer (Rick) of Traverse City, Mi., & Pat Haver (Paul) of Boyne City, Mi.

His Grandchildren, Bailey, Chloe, Porter & Ammon, and his niece & nephews, Matthew & Jon Haver, Melissa Smith, & Sam Stahl.
