It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Cowger (Mesa, Arizona), born in Miami, Arizona, who passed away on October 12, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Teodoro Hernandez and Eutimia Hernandez; her husband Bill Cowger of Harvey City, Illinois.; and her siblings, Encarnacion Hernandez, Adriana Lucero, Lupe Esquer, Anastacio "Tacho" Hernandez, Maria Hernandez, Jose Hernandez, Johnny Hernandez and Rachel Pollack.
She is survived by: her former husband Salvador Flores Sr. of Ciudad Guzman; her sisters, Frances Hernandez and Bobbie Villareal; and her children, Salvador Jr., Esther Rosa (Brant), Dahlia, James, Grace, Thomas (Debbie), Laura (Matt) and Virginia. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions in Mary's name be made to Hope and Grace DTA, a day program for special needs adults, 610 North Alma School Road Suite 54-58 Chandler, AZ 85224.
