With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melissa Ann Powlowsky Farmer (Mesa, Arizona), born in Manassas, Virginia, who passed away on March 17, 2021 at the age of 36. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her husband Douglas Farmer; her children, Haley, Derek, little Doug, Michael and Aaliyah; her parents, Alberta and Anthony; her siblings, Tiffany and Matthew; and her siblings' children, Brandon, Hannah and Grace.

“Melissa, you were the love of my life from the first day I met you. You were not perfect and you paid the price for speaking without thinking. However, you had a wonderful heart but you still had a lot of anger from your past and you were working to heal all of the hurts you had been through. I pray for the Powlowsky family and the Farmer family and her five children. God, let each of her family members learn of your love, your forgiveness and let them read your Word instead of what someone on the street said was the thing to do. Melissa, you and your family have done some "unforgiveable" things to me and it is only through the Lord Jesus Christ that I am able to forgive them. I pray that I will see you again and am making it through my hurt only through the power of Jesus Christ. I will always love you for striving to be the person that God wanted you to be!”
