He was predeceased by: his parents, George Jermier and Irene Jermier (Self); his wife Sharon; and his siblings, Kay, Dorothy and Don.
He is survived by: his children, Jenny Clark (Steve) of Waukee, IA, Jay (Caryl) of Lanesboro, MN, Andy (Pam) of St. Charles, IA, Dusty (Catherine) of Richmond, CA and Amy Wearmouth (Mike); his brother John "Jersey" Jermier of Cedar Falls, IA; and his grandchildren, Rochelle Rose, Derek, Kelsie Wearmouth, Michael, Emily, Madelyn, Zach and Blake Jermier. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
