He was predeceased by: his mother Donna. He is survived by: his children, Dylan and Natalie; his father Leroy; his sister Michelle; and his close friend Karen Aranki. He is also survived by sisters; and proud uncle and mentor to his nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the U.S. National Park System in Michael's honor, reflecting his love for the natural world and its beauty.
