Norma L. Abbott Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Norma L. Abbott of Mesa, Arizona, who passed away on January 14, 2021 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, James Charles Bennett and Bessie M. Clegg Bennett; her husband Seth C. Abbott; her brother Kenneth; her children, Cheryl Laflen and Terry Abbott (Marge) of Mesa; her granddaughters, Deborah Martin (John) of Atlanta, GA, Caroline Swires (Jason) of Broomfield, CO., Amy Howard (Chantry) of Mesa, Nicole Jensen (Eric) of New Glarus, WI and Danielle Best (John) of Cave Creek; her stepgrandchildren, Karen Laflen of Flagstaff, AZ, Scott Laflen of Gilbert, AZ and Steve Laflen of Los Gatos, CA.; her great grandchildren, Colin, Madison Martin, Joshua, Arya Swires, Sabian, Cadin Paup, Rowan Howard, Fallon, Reveillet Best, Brynna Farbod and Michael Laflen; her nephew Alan Abbott of Mesa; and her great-nieces, Gail, Bethany Seckman of Williamstown, W. VA and Worcester.

The recent isolation due to the covid pandemic was hard on her but stories of the antics of her great-grandchildren could always bring a ray of sunshine to her day and a smile to her face.
