He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Duffy and Mary Duffy (Nally) of Joseph's Hospital; his brothers, Mike and Kevin; and his parents-in-law, August and Jeanette Tolzmann.

He is survived by: his children, Patrick (Sandy Michel) and Julia Miller (Kevin); his wife Emilie; his grandchildren, Courtney Kovach, Dustin Kovach (Alex) and Wes Miller; his great grandchildren, Amiah Miller and Emberlynn Miller; his sister Mary Pat Murphy; and his sister-in-law Marge Duffy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Our Lady the Prairie Catholic Church (219 N Willow St, Belle Plaine, MN 56011). A Mass was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
