He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elmer Skogebo and Mabel Skogebo; his wife Janice; his children, Julie Tyler (Norm) and David Skogebo (Jocelyn); his grandchildren, Norman Tyler (Tammy), Michael Tyler, Kristina Tyler, Hannah Skogebo, Tatum Skogebo, Jackson Skogebo and Carter Skogebo; and his great grandchildren, Grace Tyler and Andrew Tyler. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
