Pauline Murphy Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Pauline Murphy of Mesa, Arizona, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 10, 2025 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joshua "Joker" Hillebran and Merzetta Hillebran (Fender); her husband Herbert Laurence Murphy; her siblings, Ivan, Marjorie and Opal; and her grandson Kenny Blunck Lininger.
She is survived by: her children, Tedde Blunck (Paulette) of Pittsburg, TX, Karen Payne of Arvada, CO, Rand Blunck (Edie) of Glendale, AZ, Kent Blunck (Donna) of Des Moines, IA and Vicki Sickel (Tim) of Mesa, AZ. She is also survived by six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, other nieces and nephews, as well as a host of friends and colleagues she.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 29th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Armstrong Funeral Home (205 W Monroe St, Mt Ayr, IA 50854). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mount Ayr United Methodist Church (303 W Madison St, Mt Ayr, IA 50854).
