He was predeceased by: his parents, Rose Vernon Scott and Howard Rex Huggins. He is survived by: his half-sister Ruth Ann Capehart; his wife Barbara; his children, Sheree Phillips (Dennis), Kim Preston (George) and Kenny Huggins; and his stepdaughter Tami Lorenzen-Fanselow (Bob). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
